The operational Ensign-Bickford Mk141 manufactured by Ensign Bickford, is a lightweight, full charge, disintegrating grenade. Because it disintegrates upon deflagration, the body is not reuseable. The device shown at the left is a dedicated reuseable plastic training body that specially molded to the precise dimensions of an Ensign-Bickford MK141 Distraction Device. It is designed to replicate the size and operational aspects of the actual device. Unfortunately, because of the exceptionally light weight of the operational EB Mk141, it is not possible to replicate the weight for our training device. Everything possible has been done to keep it lightweight while still retaining its durability. The Conversion Kit sleeve is shown installed in the body. |
